Colby Vogt
Founder & President
Colby Vogt is the founder of Covo, an independent intelligence firm built for moments when leaders can’t afford to guess.
With 30 years of experience in research, analytics, and audience intelligence, Colby helps organizations move from data overload to decision clarity, especially when the stakes are high.
He has advised brands and institutions including Lime, Diageo, the Spina Bifida Association, Olio, UC Irvine, Saint Peter’s University, and Westchester Medical Center, guiding leaders through reputational pressure, shifting public trust, and high-risk decisions where hesitation carries real cost.
Colby’s philosophy is straightforward: Facts inform decisions. Belief ultimately determines them.
His work focuses on understanding how beliefs form, how perception shapes behavior, and how organizations can earn clarity, confidence, and trust in complex environments.
At Covo, he develops custom intelligence frameworks that bridge the gap between data and real-world action; clarifying positioning, sharpening messaging, and helping leaders understand not just what audiences think, but why they think it.
Before founding Covo, Colby led analytics and intelligence teams at global consultancies including Burson, DeVries Global, Golin, and FleishmanHillard. He began his career at Gallup, where he learned the discipline of listening and the enduring value of giving audiences a real voice – principles that continue to shape his work today.
